Thanks for that great information Ted. You actually raised another question for me. I have read elsewhere that wheels equiped with the sensor have a sticker on the outside indicating the location of the sensor within the wheel, so that tire shops would know where not to place the bead...

The aftermarket LTPWS... Would you happen to have a part number for that? I did a quick check of the Ecklers and Mid America web sites, and didn't come up with anything. If my car was fitted with an aftermarket system at some time in it's past, I'd really like to try to get some information...

Froggy47, I have the same device. Be carefull not to overtighten the set bolt on it. I stripped the threads out on mine! I'll buy another one, though, because I also like the way it fits. Barry

Gotta be the caliper on that right side. My guess is it's sticking, and not releasing fully.

I had the opportunity to invoke ABS from about 50 mph this morning, on the way into work. I noticed that the vibration wasn't too bad, but the sound was awful. I'm wondering how much the sound of the ABS cycling contributes to the impression of vibration? Barry

I have been using the device that fastens with the targa-top tool, and liked it a lot. Recently though, the set screw that tightens on the "finger" part of the latch stripped out. I don't think I was over doing it, but maybe I was. Anyway, eventually I'll get another one of the same variety.
