Everybody, thanks for the feedback. It's much appreciated!
I guess instead of trying to adjust the car to my style, I'll adjust my style to the car. Everything else about the car is SO GOOD!!!

Picture of the pedals...
OK, so last night I took a couple of pics of the pedals, and took some measurements.
The brake pedal is 2 inches higher than than the clutch pedal, and almost 3 inches higher than the gas pedal!
Does anybody else have this problem?
Thanks,
Barry
Vettelt193,
Thanks for posting, I thought maybe my browser was broken!
Sorry if I was confusing in my original post. The reference to the clutch pedal was just to point out that visually, the brake pedal is much further from the floorboard than the clutch. I'll get a pic and post it tonight...
cruise control...
I fixed mine by checking the switches on the clutch pedal. These are the switches that "cancel" cruise when you press in the clutch or the brake. One of the switches on the clutch had worked its way out of the bracket. I pressed it back in, and secured it with a zip tie...

Hi all,
New to the forum, and to the world of Corvettes. I recently bought a '96 Collector Edition with the LT4.
There's a lot of great stuff here, and I've been able to resolve several issues with information found here!
I have one small problem that I haven't found any discussion of. The...
Sorry, I hadn't seen your other post about the K-rail incident. My thinking was that with the spare mounted, the suspension might not be loaded properly, causing positive camber. Guess that's not the case. Sorry 'bout that.
Just remember to clean the inside of your wheels before you take them in to get balanced. I had one shop refuse to use the stick-on weights because of a little bit of brake dust on the inside of my wheels.
