I never heard of the C5.5. Must have been a limited production run, resulting in a rare find. I guess trying to find a C5.5 must be as difficult as finding a 1983 Corvette.

I would skip over the 1997 through 2004 models and just go for a C6

Very disappointing that they didn't show all of the cycles (exhaust stroke missing). So, I guess it could have been better. One would thik that in this mordern era with all of the technology, small cameras, hi-speed Internet, etc they could have showed everything.

Why would you need to drill holes in the front fascia to mount the front license plate? I have the factory front plate holder mounted on my C6 without drilling or using any screws to secure it to the front fascia.

They tire shops can't order what you want?

I have 106,500 miles on my 2000 Monte Carlo SS, still has the factory original rotors and brake pads on all 4 wheels. I know it is not a Vette. It all depends on driving habits and style. Only have 9,000 miles on the C6 so I should be good for a long time with the original brakes.

One of the Salesmen at the dealership where I purchased my C6 at told me that the car should be driven weekly to charge the battery because the computer in the car is always on or running. I have no idea if he was feeding me a line or if it is the truth, but mine hasn't sat for more then a week...
