aftermarket stereos If your going for aftermarket stuff, look on ebay. You wont find cheaper prices for car audio than ebay.Alpine has been kicking butt the last two years, making high quality audio components for less.(three engineers from Hi end manufacturers made the move to Alpine, and have...

knob Well I found an old post saying that the threads are the same(9/16-18)but I would still like to know if anyone has seen the style of knob I am talking about with the ZF6 shift pattern.(other than the hurst ones).Would it look dumb to put a knob with c5 flags in my car? Thanks again.:crazy

    I love my c4! I have been around corvettes all my life.My dad drag raced a '57 vette in B/gas in the '60's(before my time).While I was a kid,my parents had a red '62,a nassau blue '65(327 350hp)and a nassau blue '66 (327 345hp).Later,a red '75 and a white '75 where purchased.They were active in...

I hate to tell you this, but if you are looking to get your car running sub-12 second quarter miles, without spending ALOT of dough, you bought the wrong car.If you want reality, there it is....I am sorry,I dont mean to be harsh,or to hack on L-98 owners but there is a pecking order. You can build an...

Drain plug There isnt anything that should make it difficult to unbolt.I would be a liitle skeptical too.I can turn mine out by hand after breaking it loose.Could have been crossthreaded.Have you got a tap that size?Might want to get one before you remove the plug,so you can clean up the...

    Ages of c4 owners?

c4 owners age I'm 31,and the '92-96 has always been my favorite body style ever since the ZR1 came out.I grew up with vettes in my life.My dad raced a '57 vette in B/GAS in the 60's,and had a '62,'66,'65,and two '75's.My Brother has had an '85,an '86 and currently has a '98 getting ready to buy...

    LT-4 flywheel

Fidanza Truth be told,it was already in my car when I bought it.But,I was looking for a healthily modded LT4 CE.But,I guess I can't say I would look strictly for a "fidanza" flywheel,(If it didnt already have it)just an aluminum/lightweight flywheel for less rotating mass. And I cant say I knew...

    LT-4 flywheel

flywheel Oh yeah, and if your changing the clutch too,you might consider the "stage II" setup or a centerforce. There,of course are other choices too,but those are my favorites.I have the stage II.Just my opinion, and those are like:booty you know?:beer

    LT-4 flywheel

flywheel I also have the fidanza,I like it,but it does cause a rattle. If you go this route, make sure you take it and have it balanced.(they are supposed to be balanced already,but..)If you dont,it wont damage anything(as far as i know)but the rattle will be ALOT worse.
