    running light

If you are talking about the headlights, the running lights will go off when you switch to high beams. That's what they are supposed to do.

1996 LT1 Heater does not blow hot air

Are you saying that the fan is working in both heat and A/C modes but the air coming out of the vents when set to Heat is not hot (warm) or are you saying that nothing comes out the vents when set to Heat?

    Inner Window seals

Ah.Ha! Found a good thread and this will work. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/thread87439.html this place is amazing.

    Inner Window seals

Nope. I already have that one and it deals with the outer seals only. Those are easy. It's the damned staples that puzzle me.

    93 Not running right

Bingo! That's precisely how a car with collapsed cats or pre-cats will act. It gets progressively worse.

    Inner Window seals

I've searched high and low for an answer to this question and couldn't find one. I am replacing the inner window seals which are stapled in place. I have removed the old seal and the staples are still in it. I can remove them and reuse them if necessary. But...I gotta ask...are there any...

    Help! Bad MAF

What makes you think it's the MAF sensor? Just the guy at NAPA?

    1992 LT1 with 63, and 64 O2 codes

I thought the problem was limited to the right side, not both sides. That's not to say using the SM is a bad idea but it's not certain that the problem is generic to the entire fuel system. Something is happening on the right side only to cause the lean condition.

    A/C 134a conversions Blue-Tube

I'm about to commit heresy and let folks know how my 87 was changed over from R-12 to 134. My mechanic purged the system and left it on a vacuum for about 12 hours. He then charged it with R-134. That's it. No parts changed at all. I've been running the car every day for 2 years now and it...

What motor oil do you use?

Junkie - I've been told that it's better to break in a rebuilt engine with regular oil, a little heavier than one would use normally, for a couple of hours and then switch to the synthetic 5W30 (or whatever oil one uses regularly). Do you have an opinion on this?

    Changing seats

I've also learned that I can replace them with seats from any year up to '93, if I want to change the style of the seat to the more modern look. I'm thinking about it. ;)

    Question: Clear Coat

The short answer is Yes. The long answer is Yes, be careful not to damage the base coat (color) when you are prepping the area for the clear coat. I have the same problem and got a $300 estimate to repair three 2" square areas on the driver's door from my body shop so I've been looking into...

    Changing seats

Has anyone here ever changed from Sport seats to regular seats in a convert? If so, what is involved? Will the front/back, up/down, recline functions still work? I'm finding that getting in and out, at my advanced age, is getting to be more and more difficult and feel the standard seats...

Oh. I can do that. I was thinking more about getting under it while it was on jack stands. :)

    Resonance

Inspired by tennis balls and duct tape, I had my muffler guy block off the inside pipes on my 87 and..................VIOLA! It's as quiet as a mouse! No resonance at all, a little higher pitch (which is good) and a nice clear sound. I lost about 50 RPM which I believe the computer will...

    87 Vert w/Automatic transmission

Oh. One more thing. I am 65 years old, disabled, and not about to lay under anything, much less a car.
