You can probably trace the title through your state vehicle agency.........our's for example is the Sec. of State................each state government varies.........and I have no idea as to cost......but once you locate the previous owner .....you'll be on a roll.......to finding the next owner...

the brakes aren't different.....only the silver lettering (that says corvette) on the top piece of the caliper is different..

all lt4's have big brakes.....................
