    1992 Valve Train Noise

Sounds like the noise went away with the valve cover off. It also looks like they have been hitting the valve cover. Do you have any noticeably loose rockers or rocker studs?

    1992 Valve Train Noise

Welcome to the CAC. That first video sounds very much like a loose rocker arm. If you have a piece of hose or even a broom stick, put it to your ear and run the other end along the valve covers to determine which side it's on. It should be very audible. Next step would be to remove that valve...

1970 Coup with modified 454. Looking for opinions on the new build, pro-con.

Welcome to the CAC. It sounds like a good setup for a strong street engine. It's hard to comment on the quality of the build without seeing, hearing and driving it. Tom

Need help identifying wires on fuse box of a 1981 with power seat

Orange wires in various gages are used throughout the harness. The rear window defroster is controlled by the pink wire (circled) next to and from the gages fuse. The gages fuse and the pwr accy (power accessory) circuit breaker power the defogger. My 81 has that same pink wire as you circled...

Electronic Brake Control Module. Help the Electronic Brake Control Module on my 2009 Z06 has failed and a replacement is no longer available from GM?

I googled the part number and got several sources. Here's one. Rock Auto was another but didn't show a price.

    Looking for this 1989 Greenwood

I think your best bet is to search in your father's old paperwork for anything related to the car. Even a service repair order should have the VIN. Once you have that you will have a fighting chance of finding the car. As for the 53, many of these cars disappear into collections for many years...

    Question: Frankenstein C4

The TPI intakes weren't known for flowing too well in a high-performance state. There are all sorts of runners and base plates made for the TPI system to increase performance. From what I have been able to find, the LT1 casting is better performing than the TPI above 5200 rpm but the TPI way...

    Question: Frankenstein C4

Welcome to the CAC. That is interesting. I haven't messed with these much. It looks like the Tuned Port throttle body is in place. I'm wondering if all of the fuel and electrics from the Tuned Port are in place but just the LT1 intake casting has been changed. Might have been an attempt at a...

    Hello from Spain

"Hello everyone, I live in Spain. My name is Saimón. I hope you'll forgive my language; this is my first post. I recently started using my first C4 from '84. So far, it's working very well. I hope you can give me some advice if I need it..." Welcome. That's a nice looking Corvette. I hope you...
