try pushing both fan switchs ..up and down together with key on then push auto button that will give codes let me know if you get anything and i`ll lopok up codes Bill

glad to help...if only mine was aquick fix have 12 volts at blower but doesn`t blow very hard out vents

Sorry should have said it is passenger side near receiver dryer (long round can) on aluminium,hose. Two wire plug .Let me Know ,Bill

System should hold 3lbs plus or minus 1/2 .Compressor on off check low freon switch jump it out and see if it stays running

jumping out the low freon switch,will tell if low on juice.If unit blows cold bad low pressuer switch .Hope you get more a/c help than I did ,got to read up on factory manuel and find my troubles

Okay 12v at blower with unit on high. Didn`t check volts at lower speed ,Ibelieve it should change.Have factory manual was hoping somebody was down this road .Also noticed volume of air out ducts does not change with blower setting.What I mean is same blower sound and air movement at 1 as there...

imho it`s like wearing a belt that doesn`t match your boots ...not that I`m much on fashion ....just don`t look right

Thanks guys ,yes the blower is running .I know early gm did not have the most powerful blowers around. Will check for crap in evaporator.

Had a simular problem years ago with a suburban.Had the rear redone with same clunk .I believe it was the carrier it self that was worn causing the noise.Hope some one has better info for ya

Hey Ron ,same thing with my 90.Used something called airplane stripper..learned that here... removes the clear coat ,then any aluminem (sp)? polish.alot of work but looks good and cheaper than new wheels

some fun wasn`t it glen .Had my repaired liked the stock look. now i need to do the front speakers they don`t work at all......wonder what the guy did to this poor car before i bought it. any way all that work any i forgot how bad that 14 year old sound system was....don`t use it much anyway bill

did same thing on my 90 what a pain in the ass. Some one here had asite to acsess with pics and a step by step. remove fuse cover and hardware around it lay upside down and look up.good luck get pics so you know what you are looking for

If memory is right it comes up out of the gas filler door .Just acouple bolts. Not familer with hi /po pumps but have had problems with non oem on other vehicles.Sure somebody has done one recently and can be more help. .

Guess where the extra rtv winds up? Most folks get lucky but I have seen it work it`s way into oil pumps and oil passegers on every thing from bikes and diesels . Just use it wisely.
