all fixed thanks for help, found where the loose vacuum line goes, found broken hard vacuum line to firewall, fixed it all, charged up the A/c, pressure switch is old and still a little finicky, but it all works now. thanks tony

including a/c (which i finally got working), switching to vent, the air still comes through the bottom vents that are hugging the center console, nothing even out of the lower side vents, dash vents or front defroster vent. took console apart and found a black and yellow vacuum tube hanging...

I dont want to hijack thread, just wondering: i took my console apart, and found a black and yellow vacum line attached to nothing and nowhere for it to attach. Its not long enough even to attach to the temp control mechanism. My main problem is that everything, a/c and vent and heater all blow...

vbp is good I got my rear composite mono spring from VBP and its really nice. Comfortable ride over bumps, I got the 300lb spring, after riding it around, I luv it, I might go with a 315 or higher if you want a stiffer ride, the 300 is pretty soft but i like it. I use regular monroe shocks...

fixed it apparently, according to ecklers tech, you do spread the nubs on the back of the collar to hold it all together, or as he stated, some people mix up some epoxy and stick a dab on the nubs. I just spread them out and now it stays together ..yay :beer thanks tony

doesn't say on my aim :madhow to attach button and collar to retainer, diagram just shows parts on pg 498, but no clues on how the assembly stays together, reaaallly frustrated, :mad:mad duno what to do, ecklers sends parts with no directions, anaim that is barely legible, and no idea on how...

it doesn't say on my AIM or my tech manual CD how to actually attach the horn button and the collar that goes around the button to the retainer that clips into the circular collar on the steering column. there are three little studs on the collar that line everything up, but it did not come...

my aim (from ecklers) is new arrival last week, but pages are faded into bleary messes mostly hard to read, havent found many things in that AIM, one of them being that vacuum diagram. have a page number by chance?
