I spent a bit of time with Ken both times he was here in Bowling Green. Time that I will always say that I spent with a friend. "BroKen" thanks for the memories, may you rest in peace and may God have mercy on your soul.
I stumbled on to this earlier today. The price seems a little high, but it's a dealer so I'll bet there is wiggle room. The dealer is less than an hour from my house so if another CAC member from far away is serious I'll offer to go and take a look...
Howard,
Even the runflat tires can be repaired by a combination of plug and inside patch. This is Goodyear's prescribed method and it maintains the runflat and speed rating. I realize your Z is a non runflat but it is the same basic tire with a much thinner sidewall. Take your Z to a Goodyear...

From what I know the 96 CE came 2 ways. LT1 w/4speed auto or LT4 w/6 speed manual. I believe the chart indicates that as well.
Kentucky's weather today is about the same as Georgia's. But tomorrow looks like it may be a corvette day! Merry Christmas Dave, and the same to all my great friends and fellow CAC'ers
Patrick......this is just tooo easy

I buy mine from a re-seller in Louisville, but I'm certain that there is one near you.
I'm certain that you will like the 02 a bunch, I do. I bought an electron blue 02 earlier this year with identicle milage. Got to say I got for about 4k less than what the dealer has priced it. Have you checked Kelly Blue Book or NADA? Anyway it's a great car enjoy......
The wire to the fan comes off a relay which is only energised when the a/c is in use. My 81 ran a little hot during the summer so I wired in a switch to run the fan whether the a/c was on or off.
vettelt193,
I guess the my first question would be "why", what would be gained from converting to synthetic on an engine with 116k miles on it. While the gaskets might be tight enough not to leak, I'm thinking it's 50/50 at best. I ran a 2 different Jeeps, one pick-up one a Grand Cherokee to...
I sold my 81 about 3 years ago and bought a C5. I have no real regrets and enjoy driving my 02 everyday. My C3 went to a nice home with a young and enthusiastic Air Force enlistee. I say go for it......:D
For me it was about six months but it about drove me to :drink
and nearly :crazy so to avoid the need for counseling get another corvette as soon as possible. :rotfl
sure is.....it's the DGA material it packs very hard almost like concrete. after the rain has washed the crusher dust into the stone chips a couple times it doesnt even track on your tires anymore.
