I agree. My '88 had more 'road feel' than my '02. I really like the C4 clamshell. I think that is cool.

My '88 A4 got 30.1 MPG on the highway at a steady 70. That was on an engine with 160K + miles. The first time I hit that I found that the display firmware had a glitch. The MPG went from 29.9 to 3.01. The only mod on the car was headers. I would think you could get a lot better.:w

I agree. I hate to wait but this time I think you will find it worth the wait. I drove my '88 coupe as a DD for 4 years. Once I got my '02 vert I never drove the C4 anymore so I finally sold it.:D

Clean livin' can't help. There is no solution other than keeping your car in a garage AND covered. I guess another month and I'm clear.:D
