Well guys and gals I did it. Monday I took a test drive in a new 2008 JSB A6 w/paddle shifter. Wow, I loved it. Last night I drove my new C6 home and I had to leave my 2002 vert with the dealer. She was a beauty but it was time to move on.
I have enjoyed the C5 forum (as I did the C4 forum)...
Well I finally did it! Yesterday I drove a new JSB 1LT A6. I loved the paddle shifting. The power is really noticably better than my 2002 vert and it handles better.
I really spent some time on the lot today comparing JSB, Black and Mag Red and I just kept coming back to the JSB.
The car is...
Thanks!:thumb I will find it and use it. I do not intend to pay $2K or more for a new roof until I satisfy myself that it can't be fixed. Hopefully I can get the same results as you did.
I really appreciate your responses.
Thanks for the update. I just searched for RTV and marked the online supplier. I will order it too since it is cheap. Were you able to find it locally? How long to dry? Thanks for the help.:thumb
I had an '88 Coupe that was my DD for 4 years. Then I purchased the 2002 vert. I was going to keep the '88 (166K miles) and continue to drive it as a DD but once I started driving my '02 I just never drove the C4 so I sold it. I really like the rear end of the C5 much better than the C4 and it...
My '88 A4 got 30.1 MPG on the highway at a steady 70. That was on an engine with 160K + miles. The first time I hit that I found that the display firmware had a glitch. The MPG went from 29.9 to 3.01.
The only mod on the car was headers.
I would think you could get a lot better.:w
I agree. I hate to wait but this time I think you will find it worth the wait. I drove my '88 coupe as a DD for 4 years. Once I got my '02 vert I never drove the C4 anymore so I finally sold it.:D
