Thanks for the reply Paul. I had the panel off. Is the control module part of the switch assy? I didn't see anything other than that back there. Would like to come visit you but my lack of funds due to being laid off several months ago is forcing me to troubleshoot this myself.

Drivers side controls are in-op most of the time. Sometimes I can lower the passenger window but not raise it. Drivers window sometimes "stutters" going down but unable to raise it. Sometimes the side mirror & door lock button is in-op. Passenger side works normally. I inspected the door wiring...

Not under warranty anymore. Sure would like to know where you saw that fix. I took the unit apart and really couldn't see any way to repair. Tried to buy the latch assy but it isn't sold separatly. Maybe somebody has one from a console mod they had done?

My ash tray door won't stay closed. Even the slightest bump and the door pops open. Any way to fix this or am I forced to order the whole assy? Never use it but would hate to just seal it shut. Any ideas?

The C5 exhaust was a different beast. I thought maybe the axle back system on a C6 would be easier. :confused

Just how hard is an axle back system to install? Can it be done without a lift? If so how high do I need to jack the rear up? Can it be done just by driving up on some 2X10's? So many questions......

My top is making soooo much noise. Worse than before the repair. I believe that most of the "groaning" is coming from the front latch assy's. I also noticed that after the repair the latches were much more harder to engage. I don't think the noise is a repeated seperation issue. Just where do I...

Mine constantly "pops" unless the road is super smooth. Used to only make noise with the temp. change. Now it seems to do it all the time. Can't stand it. :mad

Same thing happened to me. I ditched the o' rings and kept the caps. No problem.

All of my "no" front plate tickets have been given to me while my car was parked. No chance to even talk my way out of it. Meter Maids.....the NCM plate mount wouldn't cut it in NYC.

That video was taken on the Grand Central Pkwy heading west in Queens, NY. Towards the end of the video where the road is filled with potholes, on the left side is Creedmore Mental Hospital. A place where these 2 reckless drivers need to be going that fast on that road. :duh
