    The OL leaky Q jet trick There are aluminum staked plugs in bottom of the carb that tie into the fuel system... After all this time they leak.... and when heat is applied they leak WORSE which explains your symptoms...

    Well I'm back & wrenchin on the 64

    Updates Spent a BUNCH of time getting the 73 back ALIVE... But a setback.. The rear main is leaking BAD and A new clutch is in order.. ( sourcing parts now ) Today, my younger son put the new aluminum radiator in... and gave it a good run.... Moving forward again.......

    It's trickey One of the blacks comes from the starter motor/bat neg tie point... that 1 black wire goes to the case ( ground ) of the blower motor and THEN goes ( via the " other " black ) to the wiper motor case... Mike

    Thanks for all the welcome backs & congrats ~ There's many years of aging issues.. like OH that was rubber at one point so it will be a SLOW SURE STEADY progress.... Main priority get her to be a reliable runner.. So there are still a PILE o things under the hood to do..... My 64 was ( is )...
