    Callaway GT3 news 2/23/06

What? No Backup Lights? Is that legal? Those would be some fun races to go see. Looks like they have added a lot to keep that Z06 stuck to the ground and not lift off. I wonder what mods they did to the engien? Any information on the engine? Or for that fact any other mods they did to the Z06?

    High Idle...WTF?

I have a question. If you let off the clutch slowly without giving the car any gas with the pedal, where does the idel go when rolling? Have you also let the car cool down and started it back up to see where the idel starts and then drops to when warmed up? I do like 6 Shooter's idea about...

1996 Corvette Grand Sport 11K Mile - Collectors Dream

Good Luck Kingman... I'll keep my eyes open for a new C5 owner zooming along with a big silly grin on his face. As far as this GrandSport... it is beautiful. But I see one modification I would do already. See that dealers logo... that has got to go!

2006 Daytona 500 - Who are ya pulling for?

If you guys want to talk about the race in real time we could all meet in the Shark Lounge. The Skark Lounge I believe this is for Supporting Members and Admin only at this point, unless that has changed?

1972 corvette coupe for sale project/driver

Congrats on selling your Corvette so quickly on E-bay. Wish I could have put some money down on it but things are still a little tight for me. Hope this doesn't mean that you will leave this forum forever. We like all people here at CAC... or at least that is what I am told even though I...

2006 Daytona 500 - Who are ya pulling for?

I personally think it would be hilarious if Jay Leno just took off in the Corvette and raced everyone on the track. Show us what that Z06 can really do against those Nascar cars. It will be running with more Horsepower then the other cars on the track...

    ...seventh time's a charm??

*chuckles* My wife still spells it like Camero. Sorry, just thought I would mention that. Still makes me laugh.

    ...seventh time's a charm??

This one has gone across the block more then its fair share. Is no one owning this thing long enough to enjoy it? If I had the money I would love to have this one in the stable and keep it a long time to pamper as well as romp on from time to time of course.

Please Check this out, very concerned

Sorry if you feel that we are beating you down Alan. That was not my intent at all. To me it sounds like you have gone about this entirely in the right format. Taken your time, gotten your questions answered, you are an informed buyer and that is the best you can do. If you don't mind me...

1972 corvette coupe for sale project/driver

Sounds like a great deal. I did not see the auction on E-bay either. Would you mind posting a link to it so we can follow it? Hope you have a smooth transaction.

Please Check this out, very concerned

Why do you say dump it wwr? What explanation can you give for your response? From what Alan just said it sounds like he found a good car that came from a very neat and picky person that took good care of the Corvette before him.

    Jacking it Up

Kind of funny... I just asked this same thing not to long ago. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?p=678087#post678087 Now we'll have to watch two threads to see where the best answer comes in.

    Question on raising the Rear

My guess is something from the manufacture. They were bought from Mid America, but something wasn't right. Once you got up to about 50mph you could feel a pretty good (or bad) vibration. They only went on one trip before the winter months for a total of about 250 miles. We just had a chance...

    Question on raising the Rear

Hey guys:D, got a quick question:L. The vehicle this time is a 90 L98 with automatic transmission:lou. What is the best way to raise the rear end with a single jack. I only have two floor stands and one jack. The floor stands are already in place for the front. So I am looking for the best...

    I WRECKED MY ZO6

    Any 5.7 LT1s in the 400RWHP club

This is actually a very common question among Z-28 and Firebird owners. There are various ways of doing it and price is always a consideration. The other factor that is always mentioned is the driveability, at least if you have a 6-speed. From what I hear, driving it daily in traffic is not...
