    Question on AC evap drain

Hi all, I will be getting under the car again soon to do an oil change. Has anyone ever cleaned the drain hose for the AC? I've recently moved to Florida and using the AC quite often when I first got here and noticed that when I stop the car I notice it drain off significantly. I'm wondering if...

    Bose Gold needs repair again.

Thanks, I did find it. Just some information on the CD player. I used some compressed air to blow out the CD player and it worked. I guess from sitting around it gets dirty. I also imagine a good CD cleaner disc would have solved the problem also. The service manual also says that temperature...

    Bose Gold needs repair again.

Hello All, I had my Bose system repaired about 10 years ago, can't find the receipt even though I have every other record for the car. I want to know where to send it for repair. The CD errors. It's another 10 years so the service has been good. I know I sent it somewhere last time but forget...

Aggravating Vibration - Can't pin it down

Just to add to all this at one time I had a vib in the car and turned out to be a poorly recut rotor on the front of the car. I don't know if the brakes were messed with on your car as it wasn't mentioned but thought it might be worth something if they were.

    Help! Broken Bolt Removal??

Broke one on my truck once. Drill and EZ out as recommended. Advance auto had a replacement bolt for the caliper that had a slightly larger thread and self tapping. I guess this happens quite often. Another option if the thread gets f'd up when trying to remove the balance of bolt...heli-coil...

    Climate control buttons and radio

Hello, I've had a similar problem. The only right way is to take it apart and clean everything with alcohol. Wipe off all the pads and contact points. This needs to be done for the climate control station. The radio I never had a problem with but I would clean that up also. I did this several...

Passenger side power window switch quit working

Absolutely, also the switch can be taken apart. Any moisture on the contacts tend to build a film or oxidation which is easily removed. I use a small dremel with a wire brush....makes it good as new and saves a few dollars.

    Question: Garage door remote

I thought it was just me. I have a 93 and does the same thing but not always. The only radio interference I can attribute it too is the "LTPWS" but I'm not sure if it's broadcasting when the car is still? Be interesting to see how many others experienced this.

Help! 1994 LT1 Service engine soon light turns on and off

Strange you have the same code as mine but I only get 43 which is the engine knock sensor. My SES light will come on as well as the fans and then go out. I'll clear this code and it may not happen again for another year or at least several months in between. I changed the knock sensor at one...

    Question: Fuse mounting panel removal

You still need to post the year. Mine is a 93 and I remember chasing down something like that, can't remember what it was for but there is a + connection harness that powers up the fusebox and it's behind the battery on a 93.

Old beat up targa...now a summer top

$300 Arizona Designs did it. It's a quality shop, he told me people do it cheaper but that was his price. He did a real nice job, wrapped it around the back edge and it's cut right to the trim around the glass, can't tell. I sat down with him and discussed what I was looking for and how I...

Old beat up targa...now a summer top

Not paint....a reputable place that does the car wrap thingy. Another vette 94, was having a neat graphic put on his. It might be a great alternative to having a top refinished. :w
