    Dual Exhaust

I had Blackjack Alumicoat long tube headers put on MANY years ago. I did have to have them drilled and tapped for the O2 sensor. When I finally got to the "Historic" registration year level I was able to "remove" the CAT and had a local custom exhaust fabricator fab up a true dual set up with X...

    '81 with '82CE rear glass

Mike.... my '81 had the pop up glass in it for over 30 years. I spent years doing extensive research into those window kits. ALL the glass packages including the hatches in the '82CE cars were made by a company called C&C (Cars and Concepts) and were delivered to the factory to be installed by...

    Front Plates for the C7

Hey Otter.... yeah, its kind of a gag with Jr and the tag. He works for SHA and his shop is behind the State Barracks in HoCo and they drive past it every day and not a wink. If he finally gets stopped, he'll just flash the SHA badge and they'll give him a pass like they did with the Vette the...

    Front Plates for the C7

Lucky you Tom. I'm surprised these libtards in MD haven't changed them to those huge UK size plates just to piss off everyone. I promise you MD will never dump the front plate. And they pick on Vette's specifically. Junior has a nice '13 Focus ST and he removed the front plate the day he...

2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Start of Production Delayed

more plausable rumor... Well today I heard from my local Cevy dealer a more plausable reason for the C7 debut delay. They were recently told GM was having problems with the carbon fiber hoods not aligning properly. (IF).... true, that is certainly a more valid reason for a delay in delivery...

2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Start of Production Delayed

Yeah Rob... you know how much thought I put into "rumors". Now..... if this "rumor" had come from the VP/GM or a local GM rep.......may.....be I'd say Hmmmmm. But I think Hib was most correct as GM is just trying to get it right. I will keep my ears open for any more tid bits. See you in...

2014 C7 Corvette Stingray Start of Production Delayed

Interesting rumor I heard out of one of the Chevy dealers I run DX's for is that GM, "....due to the outcry of the new rear end (i.e. tail lights), they are redesigning and holding up production." Now, albeit I am not a fan of the new rear lights, I would seriously doubt GM would do it in the...

    REMO has passed

The Final Road trip..... I was devastated to hear that Remo's funeral would be in the middle of my annual Myrtle Beach golf trip. It was impossible to get out of at such late notice. I know Remo would have understood. However, I do have the humble honor of sharing Quicksilver's final road trip...

Good Lord !! NO!!! That Thing Is BUTT UGLY

I saw some pretty up close and personal shots courtesy of Barrett-Jackson last night; and besides the God-aweful rear end; I almost gagged when I saw that ridiculous fish "stingray" they glued above the coves on each side. Who the heck are the design engineers.......5 year olds? My wife started...

Good Lord !! NO!!! That Thing Is BUTT UGLY

How many years did the GM design weenies work on the C7 design and THAT back-end is what they came up with? Maybe the did "Paper-Rock-Scissors" to make that decision? They couldn't possibly have sat around in a big conference room and all said; "Yeah.... that looks awesome." Perhaps there will...

    Model Train Set

Tom... I've been collection Lionel "O" gauge for years and sadly nothing is cheap, especially the post war (1946-1969) stuff. :L However, the nice thing about collectable hobbies is the price is generally negotiable and will rise and fall with the economy (which sucks) and with the train...

    Water Spots..... or worse

If there are links to previous responses to this query, please point me in the right direction. My beautiful (new) 2002 Torch Red Vert was in pristine condition when I bought her. The paint was flawless without a blemish in the paint/clear anywhere. So I happily take a 3000 mi road trip to...

    Sirius/XM add-on??

Ive never had good success with the antenna behind the glass here on the east coast. The dbl sided tape will pull off ok and not damage the paint/fiberglass. Did the same mount on my old C3. Thx for the input. Nut
