    Intermittent Low Oil Light

Ken, I really had know idea how oil pressure works. Lucky for me I was able to get a 2 year warrenty one on car and am taking it to the dealer to get looked at. Hopefully that will be a good thing not bad. You never know these days. I'll post the results of that once it happens.......

new tires, wow what a differance

Just replaced my old (maybe original) Goodyear RSC's with Toyo T1-S's. What a huge differance in ride and handling. They are very quite on the road. They hold the road like nothing I've ever driven before. Anyone else ever try these tires out? On;y have a few miles on them but love them so...

    Confirmed C4 Guy tries C5

I test drove 3 2000 verts before finding my 92 coupe. When driving the C5's I feel like I'm sitting on top off the car were as in the c4 I feel part of it. The ride quality was much better in the c5 but I don't think it made up for the feel. just my 02 cents.......

    Intermittent Low Oil Light

Ken, Speaking of oil pressure, at 2000rpm (freeway crusing speed) my oil pressure reads 70 psi. Is this correct or should it drop down around 20psi? It seems like my oil pressure has always run between 50 and 70 as I drive. Is this normal? I thought it was but from your replay I'm now not...

    Intermittent Low Oil Light

Georget, I checked today, the oil pressure rises and lowers with throttle. I hope that is good. Thanks for pointing out to check that, don't know why I didn't, shame on me I guess. Any one else have any thoughts.

    Intermittent Low Oil Light

During the last couple of weeks, when starting I will intermittently get a Low Oil light on the warning panel. When I check the oil level it is fine. When I restart, the indication goes away :confused . I am guessing the sensor might be going bad. Anyone else experiance this or know of a way to...

    California emmissions for Military

I am a military member in Southern Cali and have had to meet the same standards as everyone else. The only exception I know of is if you don't register your vehical in this state. However to get a base sticker you are required to have a current smog certificate so you really have to have it any...

    Dyno Dynamics Dynameter questions

Over the weekend I had my car run on a Dyno Dynamics Dynameter. It was a wonderful 62 F and low humidity. The only Mods are a open air box with a KnN filter and flowmaster mufflers. The car has 45000 miles on it and I am the second owner. Based on other threads I was expecting 250-260 RWHP...

    The unthinkable has happened... :-(

fhtuner, In your initial post you say the targa top hit you, by that I'm guessing the top was off? The first weekend I had my 92 I went to the mountains to "play", I had the top off and really had a blast for 3 or 4 hours without so much as a slip. Then on the way home gong around...

Silverstar headlights installed - heavier than stock - trouble??

I just put them in 4 or 5 days ago and your right, they are cosiderably heavyer (spelling doesn't count) than the originals. They also provide a huge improvment in light at night. My guess is they stress the motors more than factory ones but I feel the light output is worth it. I do a lot of...

to flush or not to flush.......

A question........I took my 92 coupe to a lube shop yesterday for the first oil change since I bought her 2 months ago. The vette has 40,780 miles on her and because I have been at sea most of the time hadn't got around to doing this until now. Anyway when they pull the drain plug the oil coming...
