This is something I think about too. Checking with the Police is not fool proof. Their records are not national or international, only reigonal. I did hear of a situation where a Corvette and it's past were re-united after many years [decades?]. The owner had been paid out many years before and...
Thanks Jerry, it's not about looks for me, I'm trying to get the shortest sidewall I can for handleing.. Your right about the heavier wheel. That is something that I am concerned about. I had seen somewhere that the new Cragar SS are a solid billet alumnum wheel [no steel rim] therefore could be...
Yes Glen, Thats it. I should have called it the oil filler tube. I see that you are a machinest. Perfect. I would like to have you measure that hole.
Thanks, Frank.
I have to bore my Edelbrock manifold for a breather tube, small block. Can anyone tell me the exact hole size? I know that some have freeze plugs in them to block them off. The freeze plugs usually have the size stamped on them. If someone could look at theirs and let me know what it says.
Thanks.
If you are concerned about the rust, There is a product by "Pro Form" coatings called wax oil. It's a wax based permanent rustproofing. It is very good for spraying behind areas like that to prevent futher advancement of the rust.

I have been contradicted before by those who "know" but I just put power to the green wire on the trans and it did everything it was supposed to do. Locked up, unlocked. At first I thought the power...
Paul;
It seems to me that a th350 is almost a bolt in, same drive shaft length etc. BUT, I would install an auto/overdrive with a lock up. They are bulding th200's to handle a lot of power now. I think the smaller case size of a 200 would better suit the Corvette tunnel. Several years ago I used...
I like wiring. When I wired my street rod [my 1st and only complete] I learned a few things. Looking at a complete harness is a little daunting. Look at each system independently. It makes it easier to understand. Guage harness, lighting, charging etc. One other thing is, I realised when I was...
I'm am going to put BIGGER anti sway bay on the front of my car this year. I have a used one available to me. Should I bother with it or just buy a new one. Cost isn't the issue.
I belive that GM's service tool is like this for this job. I was wondering if anyone had broken the the attachment points. If its stuck its stuck and will have to go the the press I guess.
Does anyone know if this tool works?
