Burned oil in my first C5 Vette,1qt every 500, no smoke. I never made a big deal about it, just added oil when needed. Car ran great so did'nt care. Some burn oil some do'nt. Some more than others. If it's running great I woud'nt let someone tear my engine down. It's known lots of C5's...

Agreed, LS6 intake is the way to go. My advice on the deck emblem is lose it all together, much cleaner look. I removed my nose emblem as well.

wider rubber is a great upgrade. improves handling quite a bit, especially coupled with losing the rock hard run flats.

I think I was misunderstood, by posting the Jags 1/4 mile time I was showing that the Z06 Vette is faster. Not to mention the better handling capability.

No need to compromise, they will fit fine. Wheel wells are the same size,and the improvement in lateral grip and overall ride is great.

Hey, I admitted I was wrong. Alot of aftermarket wheels are heavier than the stock Z wheels, for example, so I wrongly assumed that they where not aluminum. Or mabee I was wrongly told that at some point. Anyway, I'm rollin' black HRE's, what are you rollin' on?

Also, it's amazing how much heavier come of the cheaper priced chrome wheels are than stock.
