Question: do you really have to remove the a-arm in order to change the lower ball joints, why can't you do it while it's on the car. I need to do this eventually and was just wondering.

You really have to squeeze the two wrenches together really hard on both fittings in order to get the o-ring to seal. And remember to lubricate them in whatever oil you're using before you install the o-ring.

I agree, the c4 convertible with the hardtop installed is much quieter and much more solid, it feels like a totally different car. It's too bad the newer corvette convertibles don't have this option, a hardtop looks fantastic on a corvette.
