They don't write songs about Volvos... poster

I thought people might wish to know there was a cheaper source than EBay. I'm pleased that some of you have picked up on that.

Navy, This may be not be a popular opinion but I am happy with a 327/300. Must be a senior thing. But I appreciate that offer.

I can't imagine a 572 cid motor in a C2. Would require ownership in a tire shop. But nice t-shirt.

C2/1967 Fuel Line Question re AN Fittings

Thanks John. I had to sort out SAE vs NPT vs AN vs 3/8" tank to pump vs 5/16" pump to carb and all the permutations but it will work out in the end :) . Catalogues assume you know this stuff! I had a lot of help from Lars. BTW-When I start a thread I like to finish it whether the project is a...

They don't write songs about Volvos... poster

My pleasure. I saw one of the "cool" posters go for over $100 on EBay about a month ago. That was just ridiculous. The one in my pic was matte-laminated locally on a wood backing (something called medite) with a black edge for about $25.00 above the $19.95 purchase price (+ shipping to Canada...

C2/1967 Fuel Line Question re AN Fittings

I got things sorted out with Russell -6 AN tube nuts and collars as well as a 3/8" to -6 AN fuel pump adapter. The filter is Edelbrock. The 3/8" line is bulk from NAPA, cut, shaped with a bending tool, and flared to AN 37* (not 45*) single-flare specs. Cost me a few dollars for the tools but...

I've gone all over the Weatherhead site and can't find that part. I'll try something else.

Thanks, John. Geez, I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some part numbers!

    smaller steering wheel

This is not terribly relevant for your year but others may be intererested. This is an early C3 15" cushion-grip wheel that I have re-furbished and will be putting on my 1967 in the spring to replace the 16".

C2/1967 Fuel Line Question re AN Fittings

I converted to a #1406 Edelbrock carb from the original Holley a couple of years ago as the Holley was a leaky and ill-performing pain in the ***. At that time I purchased the Edelbrock/Russell banjo carb fitting with in-line filter as well as the braided hose down to the fuel pump. The...

    Louvered Splash Shields

John, They were done in the USA west coast on the advice of the NCRS author. Then shipped to eastern Canada.

    Louvered Splash Shields

I posted this elsewhere and got some flak re copyright as to putting up a scanned copy of the original article in the Fall 2006 edition of NCRS's "The Corvette Restorer" as to the function of these parts. So I won't do that here. But the parts are mine as are the pics. So here goes. The...

    Local rebuild services C1 components

Joe, I recently purchased a 10DN (55-amp) alternator from a local NAPA dealer. I asked where the unit came from and they said a remanufacture firm in Quebec. The name escapes me but a visit to a NAPA dealer might yield the location of that company. If you wish to go across the border, this...

Thanks. I missed the obvious! My battery is 850 CCA (cold cranking amps). Do you have a pic of the breaker?
