Thanks evolution, the ones i got seem to be pretty close, at least as just a casual fit into place goes...hopefully i'll get them all hung on the car this weekend, then send them to the paint shop next week.

I'm not sure that the relay is bad...when i acquired the car, it was someone else's project that, for whatever reason, the disconnected mostly eveything electrical...as i've went through the car, most of the correct wiring is present, just a matter of tracing and hooking back up...i've traced...

I'm putting new true-flex front and rear bumpers on my 74 coupe...anyone have any installation tips?? Didn't get into it yet, but the rear looks like it could be a real pain....

petes, if i'm seeing that right, that picture is looking at the rear of the instrument cluster, and it's above the tach??.....

Does anyone know of any kind of Corvette Salvage type places that sell parts??? I"m looking for some small parts and pieces that i don't really feel like paying full new price for when used stuff would work just fine.... examples,....Taillight lenses, i really don't feel like dishing out 50-60...

Hey hammerdown, i hear you, i hate electrical problems... I just went through something similar with my 74 vette...battery would drain after 3 or 4 days of sitting....other than that, no symptoms...did an inline test from the battery and found a .45 amp constant draw, even after going through...

Can someone explain how the rear defroster works on the '74 stingray..? Thanks...

Anyone know where the horn relay is on a 74 stingray?....can't seem to locate it on my car!....:confused

So let me see if I have this right... All Corvettes from 1968-76 came badged with Stingray on the side...? If this was an option package, what was it made up of? What were the options? Maybe a better question would be, what is the history behind the badging of "Stingray"??

Wow what a find!!!....I know I read a posting here about a late 60's vette that was stolen, and suspected to be parted out.....not sure where you located this, but any chance it would be from something like that?

thanks for the replies guys....i think i have determined that the circut breaker is indeed under the hood, on the firewall.....i think the relay under the console is bad, because there is power going in, but nothing coming out...its a tough part to replace, had to order it, no one had one...

Hey guys, Trouble shooting the power windows on my 74 vette...from my understanding, there is a 30 amp circut breaker and a power window relay in this system...i cannot locate where the circut breaker is!! Anybody know where it is typically found? Also, the new relay that i got only has 2...
