I'm putting new true-flex front and rear bumpers on my 74 coupe...anyone have any installation tips?? Didn't get into it yet, but the rear looks like it could be a real pain....

Make sure you do a fitment test first. TruFlex bumpers have a shaky track record for consistency. Remember, if you have to modify it, "It's yours". If you mount it up and don't like the fitment, "It's yours".

Thanks evolution, the ones i got seem to be pretty close, at least as just a casual fit into place goes...hopefully i'll get them all hung on the car this weekend, then send them to the paint shop next week.

Evo is right, these are custom fit bumpers
every one must be made to fit YOUR vette

tru flex bumper

I had a body shop install both front and rear tru flex bumpers on my 75. The rear needs some work to align the fenders, each car was different, but the final product is nice compared to the broken urethane originals. The color also now matches the remainder of the car. I bought mine from Toledo Pro. They have excellent prices, right to your door.:)
