Looking for good tree sap remover.

I always had success with Bug, Tar & Sap remover. I know my can is pretty old. Does that stuff go bad? I think it is Turtle Wax. What are you guys using? Thanks.

Replace clutch bypass switch or get rid of.

Wow, I thought I had my mind made up to find a cheaper one but if it is a common problem of going bad, I do not want to get stranded. I am the only one who drives the car. Now I am having second thoughts on where to go on this one.

Replace clutch bypass switch or get rid of.

Thanks guys. I will find one for less.

Replace clutch bypass switch or get rid of.

My clutch by pass switch is bad and I found one for $275.00. Apparently they are hard to find and to install from what I have read. So looking at about $400.00 installed. Would any of you pay for it or jump it so it just does not work any longer and the car starts without having to engage the...

1989 will not start, just replaced starter a week ago.

Looks like there is a leak in the header causing too much heat. Going to change gasket and put on heat shield.

1989 will not start, just replaced starter a week ago.

Car would turn a bit and the starter sounded like it would grab a little but did not. Replaced with GM reman starter. Car was good for probably 5-10 starts with replacement. I start it up yesterday take it to get gas, turn off, got to start after getting gas and exact same problem as before I...

I appreciate it. It makes sense.

    ABS light is on.

As like most, money is tight. I can live with it for now. I will worry about it down the line. Thanks

    ABS light is on.

On my 89 the ABS light is on and I want to get it off. I was trying to avoiding taking it apart to get to the light if possible. Is there a fuse or an easier way to get it off? Thanks

    Praise for the L98

The L98 is a great engine. It's low end torque is a blast and it can be nodded if needed.

Normal aspirated engines and back pressure.

I would definately prefer to keep the low end torque in the car. I find that a blast. The car should be putting out to close to 400HP. The 3 inch mufflers I have is called TriFlow and is a circular design muffler. I had never heard of them before until now. They look like they are a straight...

Normal aspirated engines and back pressure.

Wow, Two opposite answers. I guess I will need to research more in detail. Thanks guys.

Normal aspirated engines and back pressure.

How much if any back pressure does a normal Corvette aspirated engine need to perform at it's best? Current exhaust set up is headers running through 3 inch exhaust into 2 1/2 inch muffler. There is no back pressure except for the mufflers. I have a set of 3 inch mufflers I could put on it...

Reconnecting stock tachometer in 89 Vette.

There is currently an analog and I was curious as to what type of job it would be to reconnect the one from the factory.

    Muffler question.

    Thanks for the input.

    Muffler question.

Po gave me a set of TriFlow mufflers with my car. He put on QuietFlows (looks to be by walker) because they were too loud for him. He was an older gentleman. I feel like the QuietFlow may be a little too restrictive and I am considering putting on the TriFlows. I called a local shop and...

What makes you choose the Corvette as your car of choice.

No problems. But now after having the Corvette for a few weeks, it feels so much more solid then my last car.

Anyone have experience with Tri Flow mufflers?

It is not a dd, but I think I will keep the ones that are on there on. Thanks.
