My 2002 Z06 had locks. I don't think my '97 did.

That happened to me as well. A local tire shop did get them off. They took a 12 point socket and pounded it on over the outside of the locking nut and managed to get them all off. I think I bought them a new socket- I can't remember for sure.

This a very difficult time of year for Remo. His Corvette is still locked up in Guy's basement, as the roads are not yet pristine enough to get his baby out. At the same time, his supply of winter meds has been depleted. Let us all hope that spring comes to Massachusetts very soon. :ohnoes

The GM service manuals are a very good investment. It is a three volume set and retails for about $175. They can be found for less. I bought mine used on e-bay for about half of that. Here is a link to Helm...
