    Vette falling on it's nose.

Last 2 times that happened to me it was actually the plug wires arc-ing on headers or grounding out because they were mis-routed and touching frame (yes, even through the insulation this can happen).

Debris (pebbles) Stuck between rocker and body - How do I remove?

;help Just infront of rear wheels between the rocker moulding and body, I found road debris/pebbles jammed in the gap between the pannels. I dont want to pry them out as it will gouge the paint. Is there a simple way to loosen the rocker moulding so I can just wipe them off/out? ;shrug I...

Question: Mild to Wild Exhaust Modulator

If you own a C6 ZO6 and you are worried about mileage.... you bought the wrong car dude! I can't think of any con on the system.... other than the two center exhause outlets seem to get more soot on them than the outer ones. I have it presently installed. With the remote FOB, I can go into...

    Why buy a new Callaway?

I agree with Remo. This is my intention. Picked an '08 Z with 4900 miles for $54. I'm still getting to know her... may not even need to send her, but for $11,146K on top of this, I could get a 660HP/585lbs tq!!! All of this naturally asperated too!

    Power Brake Booster

If the brake pedal gets hard after leaving the car for an hour or overnight it means it is leaking pressure and is on it's way out. If the brakes are hard to apply while driving period... it's already gone. ** Assuming in both cases above you checked for good vaccum and no leaks in hose...

So I want to lower my vette a tad...

Bolts for the back as mentioned above. If really just a tad, you might be able to use what you have already. For your front: Is your car an A/C car? If yes, is the system still in, or has it been yanked? The reason I ask is that compressor adds some pounds to the front end lowering it...

    My first problem....

Guy's - c'mon... I sold the 74; I didn't throw it away. All the Duct Tape went to the new owner. I've graduated from Kindergarden to 1st grade! :D .... I was reading my owner's manual yesterday. Did you know you can shift into 1st gear up to 50mph in a Z06? It didn't say what would...

    My first problem....

I've identified my first problem. Not sure if anyone has a fix for me... While returning from a local sandwich establishment (Jimmy John's), I had a sandwich next to me on passenger seat resting on top of 5 napkins (for later consumption at my office. OK, it was a number 5 - Vito, no...

    C6Z06 Tire recomendation

OK so I drove them in rain... nothing scary... not even at highway speeds. Perhaps once some miles on them will perform differently. As of now I am very happy with them wet/dry. The ride quality is SIGNIFICANTLY improved. Quieter, softer, more responsive, sticky. Just my .02 cents

    C6Z06 Tire recomendation

Well, they are on. Now a 330i Sport pkg is no Z06 but these tires are fantastic in the dry. It hasn't rained yet... so no telling what happens. I'll update again in a week.

    C6Z06 Tire recomendation

I just picked up my 08 Z06 with the "crappy" Goodyears on them. Only have 300 miles on the car so far, but I don't think they are that bad. I did just order a set of Michelin PS2 ZP's for the Beemer ('06 330i). I'll use that as a test bed and go from there - keep ya posted! -Dave

Pulled the Trigger on an '08 Z06 Last Night

Let's not split hairs here... Why not call it big displacement? Just cause the walls of the box are thinner, doesn't mean it won't hold just as much stuff!
