Have a loud knock coming from the rear end when I go over a bump, sounds like something is broke. Nothing obvious under the car. Thought it might be the spare but it's secure. Not a muffler, I have side exhaust. Can the spring be worn?
Just got a replacement water pump for my 65 small block. it doesn't have the top port for the bypass hose to the intake. Anyone have any opinion on plugging the intake and running without it?
Will a Muncie 4 speed shifter from 64 Corvette fit a 62? I have a chance to pick one up complete, all linkage for under $200. I have the correct transmission in my 62 but have a Hurst shifter, would like to get it back to a Muncie.
Started driving my 62 with the top up, figure I have a couple more weeks of driving weather before the snow hits. Noticed a gas smell while driving, it's persisted for two days. Anyone have any ideas? Should the gas cap be vented or non vented?

Does anyone know if C2 springs will work in a C1. I have a 1962 that had the front springs cut down to lower the front end. I'm putting new springs in to get the front end where it belongs. I purchased the springs from Summit Racing, they are Moog 5762, Summit lists them for 1962-1968...
