Started driving my 62 with the top up, figure I have a couple more weeks of driving weather before the snow hits. Noticed a gas smell while driving, it's persisted for two days. Anyone have any ideas? Should the gas cap be vented or non vented?
Thanks

Common/chronic C1 problem, caused by a number of factors - see my article (link below) that addresses all of the causes and cures. You need a NON-VENTED gas cap.

C2 as well

I have the same problem with my 66 coupe. Has a strange smell. Can't find any leaks.

Could the carb need rebuilding?
