This is a very common problem for all C5 owners. At one time or another, C5 owners had to deal with this problem ... I know I did and was a major concern, when it happend. But in reading through the threads about this major concern ... changing your gas brand actually helped resolved this fuel...

My mechanic informed me that a C5 serpentine belt's inner and outside sections of the belt can cause slippage. The inside may not show any cracks but the outside section is just as important and can slip as well. I used to hear some minor squeal before when engine is first started and cold. I...

Thanks so much for the info guys. Yes, I do want to retain the factory windshield. I called the Auto glass service ... Harmon AutoGlass and they will come by this Friday ... and repair the chip. The price is not that bad either ... repair is $59.95 an dprobably for mobile service another...

Bummer ... my winshield got hit last Tuesday and left a nasty crack in the middle of the windshield :cry . Now, I'm undecided whether to replace it or have it repaired. The crack is about the size of a quarter with a star-like shape. I am told that it can still be repaired ... just don't know...

Check it out first ... Best way to handle this transaction ... you need to see this vette before you give up that $$$$. No substitute ... seeing it in front of you ... test drive it and then make your sound decision. You should have an idea then what you will be buying and if you can live with...

Hi Bullet, It may sound weird but it could be your battery or alternator. Have them both checked out. You did say out of the blue ... then you started getting these messages. Same thing happened to me ... my battery was not getting properly charged and my alternator's internal regulator was...
