Thank you both for the offers though.
hcbph Thanks for the reply. You make a lot of good points and offer some sound advice. I have had a WTB thread on this forum for months as well as that other Corvette forum. I have also followed Craig's List and the on line auctions as well as the Corvettes for Sale websites. You would be...
WhalePirot - Thanks for the reply.
Yes I'm aware of the unique ECM. The prices of these cars are all over the place. There are lots new owners claiming they bought "nice" cars for less than 6K. I'm just not seeing it. Everything I've looked at that's in the 5K range has major needs and/or is...
I have had a WTB thread for a while and have not found anything as of yet but I came across a '85 Z51 4+3 with less than 85K and a clean Car Fax (not that that means much). The car has one repaint that is nice driver quaility and very presentable but not concours. The interior is in good...
I would like to find a 6 Speed Z51 / J55 car.
I'm looking for a C4 that is reliable enough to complete a couple of hundred mile trip without issues and compete in some autocross events.
My 1st choise would be a '89 or '90. My 2nd choise would be a '88 4 plus 3 Z51 or a '91 Z07. But I would...
What a great "hot rod" Corvette
I looked at the add over and over again. I'm old enough to remember the build up in the magazine. I wish this car was available when I was looking. It's everything I want in a "hot rod" Corvette and more. Good luck with the sale!
I think it's a real nice job and it looks good if that's the "look" you're after. What's great about it is if you like it there are no mods to put it on. If you sell the car or change your mind take it off. It's not something the car is stuck with.

Jay's becoming a real GM guy
With Jay's very diversified tastes it seems he is favoring GM products more and more. Over the past few years he has done some pretty nice projects based on GM products - the Buick, the Olds Toronato, the Caddy sports car at last years SEMA show that was also...
These pictures are getting a workout! There are multiple posts on Ebay right now with the same pictures and a $2900.00 price tag. The Ebay scams are getting out of hand.
That car was just on Ebay. I believe it bid up over 30K or higher but am not sure on the price. I don't think the add is real or if it is there must be something drastically wrong with the car. My guess - stollen pictures - proceed with caution.
I really like it - ALOT. I will be the 1st to say it's not for everyone. It's more of a street fighter or industrial look. Kind of like a modern version of a road race car. I would say it's sinister looking not classy looking. What can you say about that Z06 - that's BAD! I have an other picture...
Thanks for the responses - looks like it's the cold solder joints on the back of the pins. Should I just touch them all with a small dab and is running that extra ground a good idea? Again thanks to all of you for your help. Jack
I know this has been beaten death but I need help with a cluster repair. I have read and tried to digest all the repair links. My original problem was the usual display goes out and the signal and hi beam indicators come on. I read all the info - pulled the cluster and found the dicolored pin...
