I know it flies in the face of common perceptions, but has anyone gone to 18 inch wheels all around on a 2006 Z51? If so, what size tires do you use? I am considering 275/40-18 on all four corners. What are your thoughts? Thanks.:w

They built a Brazillion C5s so I’m not sure of future value. As to performance, my LT4 beats my C5. Also, I have to say the looks of my LT4 stands up to my C5. At least, I think so! Just took the chrome ZO6 replica wheels of the LT4 and put on Argent silver 2002 OEM wheels with GY EMT...

Has any one put C5 factory OEM wheels on your C4? Were there any issues with fitment? I know the speedometer will be off by a couple of percent but I like the look of the 2000 polished wheel. Any thoughts? :w

I had one of the first, red with glass top. Side windows leaked, could not read the instruments on bright sunny days and it was hard to drive on any kind of wet pavement. Chevrolet had possession of it as much as I did while trying to stop the leaks, rattles etc. Lost about half value on sale...

You're right....senior moment! They were stainless magnaflows though. Sold to another C4 owner, probably on the cheap side, here locally. That was 15 months ago and as far as I know, the system is still on his car.

My coupe had Magnoflows when I bought it, 40 series I think but not sure. Anyway, very loud and at cruising speed, Christ!!!!! Drove it 1200 miles home and had a headache that would not quit. I ordered Corsa system that week. Guess I'm too old for the loud noise :ugh but none the less have...

Point of clarification… Not trying to improve but to simply replace bad factory lifter set with aftermarket brand. Any ideas?

Has anyone replaced the factory rollers with an aftermarket, while keeping the original cam? Have some stock ordered from GM Direct, but it is taking forever! Thanks :w
