I have a '80 L-82 with an inop curise control. I need help with where to start to troubleshoot the problem. The servo seems OK and the hoses to the servo are in good shape. The transducer looks very clean and the electrical connection is good but I have not put a test lamp on it as of this time...

I have an original equipment Delco Radio/Cassette deck in my 1980 L-82. Can someone enlighten me on how to set the time? I do not see any buttons to use and am at a loss on how to do it. The display is digital and all there are are programming buttons for the stations, Bass and Treble sliders...

Steve, It was info from the previous owner but in doing some research is appears that I do have the heavy duty suspension. How did you get a copy of the original dealer invoice? I might be interested in getting a copy myself if it is avail. Pete

Supposedly my new 1980 L-82 has a Gymkhana suspension option but I am unable to find the RPO tag. Does anyone know where I should look for the tag and how do I tell if I have the Gym.. suspension by looking at the chassis? Thanks for any help. Pete

Dave, I would prefer to fix the cruise as I like to get everything as original. Is it possible that a bad transducer is both causing the noise and the cruise to be inop? Pete

I have a 1980 L-82 and the speedometer cable is making some noise when driving. How difficult is it to replace the cable? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
