I had the same issue a few months ago. I made one from the tip of an old paint brush handle and a dremel drill. I used epoxy to help hold it on the little tab.

If you experience the problem use it for the next 2-3 tanks. After that every 3-4 tanks should keep you in business. I stay away from the discount fuels as well.
