ok here goes,the car runs and idles fine,but going down the road during acceleration the car boggs down pretty bad,i have changed fuel pump and sock,plugs ,wires,cap,rotor,and even the coil!!!! after all that nothing?now im lost.does anyone know what it might be?or should be ,injectors,vacuum...
I will explain this as easy as i can,about 4 months ago I changed my left rear hub and bearing assembly and u-joints on the half shaft there.I dont drive the car very often but when i do i hear a sound coming from that area,when i get back i jack up the car and the tire wiggles,so i tighten down...
if i wanted to put 17" on my 84 ,im going to get wheel adapters.How hard is it to replace the lugs,I need to install longer lugs if i want to use wheel adapters right?
fuel gauge doesnt work in car but when i have it in my hand outside holding it with key on gauge works!,why is this?.I know I know i shouldnt turn on key with this in my hand but.
ok, just installed new wheel bearing on left rear wheeel,while I was at it I replaced u-joints in half shaft.Here's my problem,this one almost beat me,what is the trick about getting the half shaft reinstalled?,I had such a problem getting the retainer bolts in,what did I miss Ive done this once...

I have a heck of a grinding noise coming from the rear wheel.I know its not the ujoints,someone told me that the bearings in the 84's have to be pressed on,everything ive read tells me they're not,anyone ever done this job,ive done the ujoints on the half shafts several times,is this job...

I have a slight grinding noise coming from left rear wheel.I just changed U-joints in half shaft.Took the tire off checked brakes and pads.looked like everything was ok.Could a warped rotor make that type of noise?Or should i even look deeper pass the hub and check the emergency brakes shoes?
