Hello Gary...I just came from my mechanics n he said I was real lucky because I blew a freeze plug.......No other trouble was found...So he drained the system cleaned everything n put everything back...Filled herwith 50/50......No more water.......I was originally told that water will help cool...

Funny u should post this...2 Fridays ago when the temps hit around 10 I found my hose n t-stat housing froze when I went to crank her over in the morning....I was down for a week till she finally thawed out...Trying 2 help cool my big block we had mostley water with a couple bottles of water...

There was a major show in Fl. over the past week which a lot of vendors attend so at least that part is true....Good luck....Jerrylee///

I have a leak on what I believe to be the transmission line....the small line that ties into the bottom of the radiator on the pass. side.....My mechanic won't be available till sat n I want to know if it's ok to drive like that till then.....Thanx.......................Jerrylee///

A few weeks ago I had a rattle when I punched the gas which turned out to be nothing more then a timing issue which was quickley rectified...Now I'm getting the same noise just not as bad......What could cause the timing 2 go out of wack again.....Thanx again....Jerrylee///

I'm using the 268 but the one 4 the big blocks.....I am very happy with it .....Combined with a set of Hooker super comps It produces an awsome low end sound......I'm extremely happy with this set-up...Hope this helps...Jerrylee///

Problem solved.....I put my original radiator cap back on....I bought a color matching cap from summitso I figured I didn't change anything else let me see if that could be it.....n to my suprise the temps went back down....Don't ask me y.....LOL......Jerrylee///

Hey guys in just changing the thermo housing is there a possability of getting an air pocket...............I changed my p.s. cylinder,control valve n thermo housing n now my temps hover between 205 n 215 wear they never went passed 190 before...............Thanx..Jerrylee///

Duals... The cats however small are a restriction.....It shouldn't be to hard to find a garage who will give u a sticker....good luck...Jerrylee///

Does anyone know were I may find a good deal on differentials.......I have the original 3:08 in there now but I want to switch to a lower gear.....Maybe 3:70......They all want around 800 n up plus the core charge......Also having the overdrive tranny how far can I go without sacraficing highway...

Hi Muddy ....The 7's n 9's are the old steel springs n the new mono springs are made of composite which makes them lighter n stronger...I believe they only weigh 8 lbs n they never wear out............Jerrylee///
