No. I decided it must be intended to be used in place of the inline fuse holder so I went that route. It works fine and does protect the fuse from the elements much better than the open case inline fuse.

Can anyone tell me the MAF Burn Off Cycle Duration? I'm getting a code 36 on my 88 and have found the MAF wire is only heated for about 2 seconds after shutting down the engine (after it has reached operating temperature). Not sure if this is enough time for the ECM to get a good reading or not...

OK I removed the MAF and started her up. Scanned the codes and sure enough I now have a 33 in addition to the 36 I had before. The 33 code makes since since the MAF input is actually pulled up to 5 volts through a current limiting resistor. Which means with the MAF disconnected the ECM should...
