    Huge day for corvette racing

?The Merger? I don't in any way want to sound like a snob, but I've always enjoyed the difference in ALMS vs. Rolex GT or NASCAR for that matter. Any ALMS event I've ever been to simply isn't a "hooters n' beer" event... it's racing, real honest to goodness racing without the all the nonsense...

Is this the 2014 C7 Corvette?

Nahh, it's not it, Not yet. What do I think, unless they really mess it up I will want one badly. I also think this is a clever decoy. The spy photos seemed to have different details around certain features. I have to agree with the photoshop vote, I don't think this is quite it. One other...

    My 2 cents

What we're saying is... I think you clearly overlook that point that not all of us want, or can afford a 2012 Z06 - great car for sure. The fact you have that option is awesome, but really, a 80k+ car isn't for everyone. If Chevy is going to keep the Corvette relevant to a younger audience, it...

    My 2 cents

jsup - your point is well made. Buyers should have the choice to go full boat on toys and power, or perhaps something less equipped and less powerful would fit nicely, and be affordable.

    My 2 cents

I agree, and want to add... I agree with you, I think relevance is what is lacking. The current C6 base car is too expensive for many buyers, and I think that could easily be remedied with a more entry level model. Here are a few of my comments that I've made on another site; I like what I've...

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette Caught Again With Upscale Interior

Imagination... Maybe In total, I refer to all of the images I'm seeing, not just these posted today. I think it will be similar to your C6, most Corvettes are iterative updates. But I do see a lot of contemporary influence on the lines, Ferrari in particular. Cheers! Steve

    C4 The Most Maligned Model?

My Experience with a C4 I've owned mine for several years now and it's a continuing love affair. I've never run into any issues from other Corvette owners in regards to my C4 1995 Corvette. It's a stunner, very clean and straight in Admiral Blue. You can't help but have that color grab your...

    Corvette Wins at Le Mans

Awesome Race, Awesome Car I was following it since it started yesterday. I found the twitter coverage helpful for the times I couldn't watch it. The Corvette teams did a great job, and they make me proud to be a Corvette owner. Sorry Jan and the 74 car lost out, but they'll be back next year...

Lots of folks out there bashing the C4...what gives?

Wow, very old thread... great question I've driven C5's, I own a C4. They're both nice... I just am absolutely in love with my car. It's hard to explain, but it was love at first site... had to have it. I didn't buy it because it was fast, I guess I just love the style and the color. It's a...

site to check original RPO codes

RPO Codes THANKS Fast Freddie! It told me a few things about my car I didn't know. I always wondered what my rear axle ratio was... I don't think it adds any value, but it is interesting to see that my car is "one of a kind" i.e. there was only 1 produced with my exact options. Well even if it...

    Spring Dust Off

Mine just saw the 1st light of 2011 Isn't it pure joy to hear them fire up and pull out of the garage for the 1st time of the season. I'm looking forward to many great times this year - good Luck and thanks for the pictures. Steve

    Question: Instrument lights(dash lites)

The Same But Different I've had the exact opposite happen, occasionally my HVAC buttons fail to light up while everything else looks fine. I suspect I've got a dodgy connection in there, however it's never been enough of a problem that I've wanted to tear things down and clean it. When it gets...

What makes you choose the Corvette as your car of choice.

I've always admired Corvette's and several other American Muscle cars... but the Corvette IS America's sports car. A couple years back I went to a Corvette show at the Moroso plant in CT. Everyone was clearly passionate about their cars and I really felt it... you could feel the passion for...

    New Guy in CT

Thanks to all for the well wishes... and your 54 is one nice looking car as well. I don't know about the 1st gen models, but they are unmistakable lookiing. I guess in some way all Vette's are unmistakable.
