    Question: 1981 fuel tank

Hey guys, I am bringing a 1981 C3 back to life for a freind of mine. It has sat since the mid 90s. First order of business is to drop the fuel tank and lines. Today's question (there will be many in the following weeks) is the fuel tank for the '81 cleanable? I read something about a bladder...

    Help! lifter problem??? 1974

It sounds as if you might need to adjust your valves. This is something that you can do on your own. If you can get someone to crank the engine while the valve cover is off you will be able to see if the valve is opening and closing. Dis connect the power to your distributor before the cranking...

    brake upgrade

Let me pile on here. The man who does my alingnments/suspension work told me to spend my money elsewhere instead of upgrading my brakes. He sets up alot of the c3s in this area that do road race/autocross and most of them use the stock style brakes. No need to try to redesign the wheel.

I wonder how many new members will show up here

Hey Gary, nice pattern on that ring. Hey Mikey, if you can't slam the aftermarket stuff what good is a forum. Seriously, this forum has assisted me in a total nut and bolt off frame rebuild of my '74. Not once have I been let down by the members here. Other than Mikey questioning my product...

    305 Heads

Hey copdog, I think it is worth a try. If you already have the heads and are doing the work yourself. You may have a detonation issue to deal with (I always did with 305s). If you don't have the heads look into some of the after market cast units (if your trying to maintain some originality?)...
