I went with the Michelins... I like them much better than the originals. And all their ZP (runflats) come with the road hazard included.
For the Vette I bought them at Discount Tire, took the on-line ad in and they came close enough for me to buy them.
The second set I bought for the XLR...
Most likely it would be sold in pieces, the smaller or most profitable brands first, the less profitable may disappear. It isn't likely a company would buy all of GM.
But that said, nobody is talking about what customers deal with... yes the DEALERSHIP. That is the face of the manufacturer...
One other note about using Rhino Ramps. The front wheels will often slide the ramps forward, especially if your car is an automatic. The reason is because you are riding the brakes. Some of the remedies above work fine, but if you trust your parking brake to get halfway up the ramps... they...
2 things:
The "special procedure" may be a reference to resetting the oil life monitor. Turn the key on run but don't start the engine, then depress the accelerator peddle 4 times to reset the monitor. Alternately, scroll to the oil life display and hold the reset until it goes to 100%.
A...
You will like having it. They used to ship those with a "stuffer" to keep the car from bouncing in shipping (no power = no shocks). I still to this day hear stories of people who hated their car and sold it... buyer found stuffers and got a deal. I don't think they do that any more, but if it...
It's worth it to me. I assume you are considering this as an option on a new Vette, because there's a bunch of electronics and sensors that go with it... not a upgrade you can probably do.
Maybe the problem is there is only one color of PAINT used in the interior, and they don't give a color code for the leather and vinyl.
Interior:
RPO: 154
GM Name: Shale
DuPont Name: Shale
MFR Code: 15/194B
Stock: C9505
The wheel color may be close to complementary...
GM Name: Champagne...
I think it has something to do with the oil in the print. Whatever it does, I can't find anything that gets my windows cleaner than newsprint.
I just take about 2 full pages, wad it up and wipe off some cleaner. Stoners is good, but distilled water works almost as well.
A couple of years ago, I was talking to the local newspaper's auto writer at a car show. He was there with an AE and said he really wasn't very impressed with the ride. We peeked under the rear and I showed him where the stuffers were... he was of course writing an article about the AE at the...
If you have much of an ear for music you will be dissappointed in the fidelity. I will let our subscription expire. Nice on the occasional trip, but the sound is definently flat. I prefer CD's.
Forget the investment and decide on what will give you the most pleasure. I personally like the looks of the C5 better than the C6 and the AE color is awsome! But the C6 has a few more ponies and some suspension and transmission improvements that are worth considering.
I've done mine 3 times (27,500). Any reasonably mild degreaser will do... I use Windex. Spray it around some and let it soak. I usually take the injector covers off to clean under there too.
Don't spray, but you can run a hose to rinse. Do the battery compartment by hand, don't wash in...
I'm speculating you have an automatic. The ramps are pesky because you are using the brakes. I personally prefer to back onto the ramps and jack the front. But if you can let it roll without the brakes until the tires are well on the ramp, then you can control the brakes. If you are nervous...
I found a fairly long and skinny "Wheel Spoke" brush at Wally World that does a passable job on all wheels.
I do take the wheels off about once about every 4-6 weeks and clean that way too. Then you can do a good job in the wheel well, the back side of the wheel and inspect the rubber as well...
They have already dropped... in some cases a lot. Dealers are taking losses (or at least reduced profits) in order to build their future allocations. They will get list or more on the C6's. The current C5's have more value as a tool to build their allocation than they could get on the markup.
This is from the 50th database:

I don't know for sure how to find out what your current dealer's number is.
The G92 (3.15 performance axle option) is only available on an automatic. The standard is 2.73.
If it is an anniversery edition, the option for that is 1SC and there were very few other options offered; BSM, CD Changer, License Frame, Tops options on the Coupe, 6 speed manual (MN6) and/or...
