01 Z06 service colum lock

My battery got low over the winter, I now have this message" Service Colum Lock" on my display. Does anyone know what this means and how to get rid of it ?

Replace your battery and you will be just fine.

78-6YR battery from ACDelco and torque the battery terminals to 11 ft lbs.

I slow charged the battery and now the service colum lock warning is gone. The car starts fine and rus fine.
