02 Sensor location

Getting a PO152 code, which is the #2 02 Sensor, and I'm wondering where it's located and how easy for a DIY replacement? Also, where to get one & which one to buy? I do have a Haynes, but I was hoping for some firsthand experience w/ this.

Passenger side exhaust about 8 inches below exhaust manifold. Shouldn't be hard to change. Use a 7/8 inch wrench to unscrew and unplug from wiring harness.

Thx for the reply but scratch that because it is now sensor #1 that I need to replace not #2. PO152 reads bank-2/sensor-1.

So, same question...different sensor.

Different question, same answer. I think he was reading your mind (or the code) and gave you the correct reply. Bank 2/Sensor 1 is upstream of the passenger side cat, just before the bend.

Get a good wrench though , I broke one chrome-vanadium and grinded the edges of the sensor off so it was round , had to use pipe wrench 2 feet long to unscrew it

Location of all the O2 Sensors

Been having problems with my '96 LT1 throwing these O2 Sensor Codes. Can someone define the locations of all the O2 sensors. Last time the shop coded my car, it threw 7 different codes. Also, what is each bank and sensor responsible for checking. Unlike most of the guys on the forum, I am a blonde woman taking it to a shop. And although the blonde is not natural.....doesn't mean they don't treat you like it is. I like to at least be able to gee-whiz them when they throw their jargon at me.
