In all honesty, I wouldn't think twice about buying a Vette for myself from Rick. There's only one problem though: $$$$ I just bought my first house and not only am I broke after my purchase, it requires a lot of updating and refinishing to get it to where I want it, so for now, my '90 is going to have to be happy sharing a garage by itself.

I am however going to take Paul up on his offer - probably in late summer, early fall. I'd like to make a road trip up to visit my folks in New Hampshire and on the way, I can swing by Paul's neck of the woods, and maybe he'll have a 2004 Z06 just sitting around collecting dust.

For what its worth.... I have a 96 coupe near the end of the model run and I know they did not put a 97 VIN tag on it ;
