what maintenance work dose the 100,000 service on my 94 C4 include?

Plugs, wires, automatic transmission fluid and filter change, rear diff fluid change, inspect hoses and water pump weephole

Expect to replace the Optispark, alt (if original), wheel bearings after hitting 100K. Shocks go downhill after 75K, so those too.

Routine Maintenance Services

For my '87, Schedule "I" calls for maintenance intervals of 3000 miles, while Schedule "II" only requires service at 7500 miles.

Schedule "I" means:
  • Most trips are less than 4 miles (6 kilometers).
  • When most trips are less than 10 miles (16 kilometers) and outside temperatures remain below freezing.
  • Idling and/or low speed operation in stop-and-go traffic.
  • Towing a trailer.
  • Operating in dusty areas.

Schedule "II" applies only if none of the driving conditions specified in Schedule "I" apply.

Items to be serviced include:
  • engine oil & filter change - every 3000 miles (5000 kilometers) or 3 months
  • chassis lubrication - every other oil change
  • carburetor choke & hose inspection (if equipped) - at 6000mi (10000 km) and then each 30000 mi (50000km) intervals
  • carburetor or throttle body mounting bolt torque - 6000 mi only
  • engine idle speed adjustment (some models) - 6000 mi only
  • tire & wheel rotation - at 6000 mi (10000 km) and every 15000 mi (25000 km) afterwards
  • vacuum or A.I.R. pump drive belt inspection - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 24 mos
  • cooling system service - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 24 mos
  • wheel bearing repack (rear wheel drive cars only) - Clean and repack front wheel bearings at each brake relining or 15000 mi (25000 km), whichever comes first, when car is used in such service as police, taxi or door-to-door delivery. If you do not use your car in such service, clean and repack bearings at each brake relining or 30000 mi (50000 km), whichever comes first. Corvette models do not require wheel bearing repack.
  • transmission/transaxle service - For manual transmissions or transaxles, fluid does not require changing. For Corvette only, change fluid in overdrive unit every 30000 mi (50000 km). For automatic transmissions or transaxles, change both the fluid and filter every 15000 mi (25000 km) if the car is mainly driven under heavy traffic, hilly or mountainous terrain, trailer pulling or taxi, police or delivery service. If you do not use your car under any of these conditions, change both the fluid and filter every 100000 mi (160000 km).
  • vacuum advance system inspection (some models) - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 24 mos.
  • spark plug & wire service - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 24 mos.
  • PCV valve inspection - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 24 mos.
  • EGR system service - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 36 mos.
  • air cleaner & PCV filter replacement - every 30000 mi (50000 km) or 36 mos.
  • engine timing check (some models) - every 30000 mi (50000 km)
  • fuel tank, cap and lines inspection - every 30000 mi (50000 km)
  • thermostatically controlled air cleaner inspection (some models) - every 30000 mi (50000 km)

I hope this helps you somewhat Boonie. :upthumbs
