Convertibles went up $160.00
Z06s went up $160.00
Fright went up $90.00
All orders submited after this date will be subject to increase.
All inbound Corvettes built after this date are subject to increase.

Rick, I think you mean "freight." Personally, I've never considered the Vette to be one of the scarier cars. Now the Yugo.....

One would think that a guy in business to sale corvettes would just suck up a $10/100 increase in price instead of passing it on to the buyer...???? Profit margin on vettes are significant already....

I wonder if Chevrolet has increased the vehicle content or value with any of the increases?

The freight increase is just another racket. A new car is virtually the only product that delivery is charged extra, but not included in the base price. It should be included in the base price or not included at all. Can you imagine if all manufacturers added a "delivery/freight" charge to every product sold in a store?

I always wondered what the profit margins are on the Corvette for all levels. ie. manufacturer to dealer, dealer to customer...

Well I dont know what the Gen. makes but I can sure tell you my income is down.
