Hi jamison, Here's my reasoning. The engine is designed to run at a specific temperature,so the sooner it gets there (without gunning it) efficiently the better. why impede this process ? As vetteoz has pointed out there has been much discussion on this subject, none of which has persuaded me to change. the argument for drilling a small hole or two in the thermostat is only valid as a measure to allow some circulation should it fail to open. Someone please prove me wrong. Roger.
