Thanks Dennis! I appreciate the compliment. It was a lot of elbow grease but it was worth the effort. Besides, I didn't know it would cost that much to restore 'em! Did they unmount the tires? I'll bet they did. I had just the one with the flat unmounted and it makes it a lot easier. But, to me, doig stuff like that is fun.

Actually two of my wheels had some serious "road rash" where some metal build up was necessary, but I think the price for refinishing was the same. I believe they removed the tires for the refinish, but since I dropped them off and left them.....I'm reallly not sure.

I've got the same issue with my current 02' coupe. The previous owner hated curbs . I'm thinking about replacing with Z06 wheels when I need tires next time.

Yeah, I had some minor scratches from someone who hit a few curbs but you'd be amazed how soft aluminum is and with the proper grit sandpaper you can sand them right out.

Red, NO!! Consecutively: red Honda Magna, red Chevy S-10, Red Ford F-150, red Ford Ranger, NOW a white Vette. So I want yellow or that royal blue.

When I bought my 90 I was looking for black coupe, but a deal came up on the 90 vert 6 sp.
I do have a black 95 GMC extended shortbox.
Before the vette I had a 98 black Riv.and an 89 black Riv.
