Team,

I feel pretty useless asking a question like this, but how do I determine if my '84 wheels are 8.5 or 9.5? I think I remember something about the Z51 being the determining factor, but I don't remember...Any ideas?

Thanks!
Jason

Hey Orbie, welcome aboard:) If I'm not mistaking, the rim size should be stamped on the backside of the rim for those years. If thats the case you easily remove the wheel to find out:)

Jason,

Wellcome to CAC. These are some great folks. I to have an 84. My first Corvette.

Can't wait to see the pics of your new rims. Are they the 84 factory style? Or after market?

Keep in touch...

My understanding is that the Z51 has the 16X9.5 and the none Z51 has the 8.5, or something like that.

Check your tires. Front should be 245/50-16's and the back 255/50-16's if you have 8.5's and 9.5's.
