I have seen this posted a few times, but I have not actually seen any pictures or a car set up with, "18 inch wheels all around for the look."

Just what is the "Look" difference, relative to the orginal?

Any pictures

Thanks

Here is a pic of mine, I have 18" HREs on the front and back.

As for the look, to me that's a subjective thing. I see nothing wrong with the 17 front/ 18 rear. I know some who run 18" front and 19" rear and it looks very nice (the ones I've seen). Fills the wheel areas with more rim.

There is not a big difference. It makes the front tire to look more racing. I re-installed a set of 17 inches in front and each time I look at the front tires, I feel that there is too much rubber and looks like a truck tire (sorry). The disk looks bigger since the wheel is smaller. But I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who notices the difference.

I see a big handling difference at track. More crisp due to lower profile. I have a lot less understeer with the 18 inches. I have Michelin pilot sport on the 17 inches and Yokohama es100 on the 18. So that could the tires too. 18 inches are a bit wider. That makes the car follow the road imperfection.

In summary, 18 have a better look, better handling. More difficult to drive on hwy and more expensive. I’m going back to 17 inches front. It cost me 10 (4 front 6 rear) tires last summer and I need to reduce costs.

Here are a couples of pics.

Here is the quiz, what pictures have the 17 and what pictures have the 18 ?
