1960 Corvette VIN #2

Received the following email from William Fortune:

I own vin #2 for 1960 which was a pilot test car. Tested with failed aluminum heads.

I am trying desperately to find someone who can supply accurate information as to the history of the car. It has a fuel injected CZ coded motor built in august 1959. We are unsure as how these cars were outfitted for the test track and how they did or did not survive. Some say they were fully equipped. Some say, no dash pad, rugs, radio, heater, wipers, rugs.

I am restoring it now and would love to know!!
