Hi,

Question:

In the 1967 model year, was RPOG81FB (12 bolt Positraction 4:11.1 differential available with RPOL36 (427CI 390HP) and or conversion engine RPOL68 (427CI 400HP)
My understanding is that G81FA (3:70.1) was the top performance axle ratio with L36/L68.:thanks:

3.70:1 was the highest (numerical) axle ratio available with either L36 or L68, and it was only available on those engines with the close-ratio M21 4-speed or with Poweerglide. There was no such thing as a 12-bolt diff in a Corvette; they used a totally unique 10-bolt diff that shared no parts at all with the passenger car 10-bolts.
